Operations, HR and Performance
Once the board runs every day, the rest of the office is six screens, each with its own job. This is the map — what each is for, where it sits in the menu, and the one or two things worth knowing before you open it.
Operations
Operations
- OTR Training
- Training days, and what trainers and trainees are scoring.
- Notes
- HR’s notes on drivers.
- Birthdays
- Birthdays and work anniversaries, before somebody has to remember them.
- Flags
- What the forms raised, and who has seen it.
- FAE
- Fleet Audit Excellence — Amazon’s audit of the walk-rounds you file.
- Routes
- Routes and vans reconciled against Amazon’s plan, day by day — and what Amazon owes for them (the Finance guide).
- Rescues
- The road’s own record of every rescue.
HR & Compliance
HR & Compliance
- Compliance
- Amazon’s work-hour rules, held against every driver.
- Safety shoes
- Who was noted without them, over the days your rules count.
- In-House Pay
- Paid days and reimbursements by week — what payroll keys in beyond the shift hours.
- Breaks
- Breaks as the app, the payroll system and the van each saw them.
- Timecards
- The Flex sign-out held against the payroll clock-out.
- Onboarding
- Amazon’s hiring pipeline, read from Cortex.
- Exits
- People leaving, and what is still to do for each — every station at once.
- Documents
- The driver’s file.
- Injuries
- Injuries and the OSHA log, kept as they happen.
Performance
Performance
Six tabs — Scorecard, Safety, Quality, Rankings, Monthly and Giveaways. The weekly rank is built from Amazon’s scorecard and your own rules (Settings › Ranking & standing), and the week’s post comes from it:
On Rankings, press Draft the weekly post.
It opens the Announcements composer with the standings written in, and Post it sends it. Drafting needs Performance edit, posting needs Communication edit — the Owner and an Ops Manager hold both.
If you run giveaways, press Offer rewards to the Top N.
It needs the Give rewards permission. Giveaways then follows each one — Record their pick…, Handed over, or Withdraw….
At the month’s end, the same on Monthly.
Draft the monthly post and Offer the month’s rewards.
Write-ups
Write-ups
Dispatch drafts — Write up this call-out → on a driver’s row, or Write up from a Safety or Quality line — and the Owner, an Ops Manager or HR issues: Issue & notify driver. Issuing marks the driver bonus-ineligible for the week of the incident; rescinding clears it. The driver signs on their phone — Sign — I have read this — or refuses, and either is kept.
The fleet
Fleet
Every van in walking order. A van’s own page holds its Overview (the bench and the QR card), Service, Registration, Inspections — Amazon’s DVIC and your own walk-round — Damage, Tickets, Notes and Cortex. Tickets and Damage at the top list every open one, and Settings keeps the service intervals, photo retention, repair shops, van types and vendors. The fleet guide goes deeper.
Chat, announcements and the Library
- All Ops
- Everyone in the office, in one room, pinned at the top of Chat.
- Broadcast
- One per station, to every driver. It rings them, and quiet hours hold it until they end.
- Today and Tomorrow
- Each station’s rooms for the drivers on the board. Tomorrow’s opens when the shift times go out.
- The desks
- Dispatch, Fleet, HR — a driver messages a desk, never one person who might be off.
- Announcements
- A notice people read. Only Priority and Ask for “Got it” ring phones — both need the Priority & pins permission, the Owner’s and an Ops Manager’s at first — and an @-mention rings the person named.
- Library
- Policies people sign, Guides everybody reads, and Ops guides only the office sees — this path among them.
